Ready to impress your guests? Our QR Guest Ordering Interface is a fun way to make your home bar guests feel like they’re experiencing the real deal.
Prerequisites
To ensure you’re set up for success, we’d recommend completing the Setup Wizard and Creating a Couple Drinks before enabling onboarding.
Enabling Ordering
Ordering is enabled by default, but you’ll want to customize your settings to make the most out of it. First, lets head to your Account Settings.
Once you select the “Drinks & Ordering Tab” you’ll see two sections. Ensure both the Enable Drink Manager and Enable Ordering are both enabled. Then, update the following Ordering Settings to your preferences.
Storefront Name: The name of the “bar” on your ordering page, maybe it’s “Bill’s Basement Bar”
Storefront URL: The URL section that is a unique identifier for your bar. It will follow app.cellarbase.com/order/{storefront-url}
Access Code: If you’d like to secure your ordering with a passcode, you can do it here. Don’t use anything too personal though, as it will show in the URL when a user logs in.
Tip: You can pre-fill the access code in a link (app.cellarbase.com/order/{your-bar}?access_code={your-passcode}, this is done by default for Cellarbase QR codes and the Guest Menu button in Cellarbase, so your users won’t need to type it in if they scan a code. They’ll only be prompted for it if they access the direct url, like app.cellarbase.com/order/{your-bar}. If you don’t want your QR codes to have it pre-filled, we’d recommend generating your own using an online service and not including the “?access_code={your-passcode}” portion of the URL.
Storefront Logo: Here you can provide your own logo that will show on the Guest Order Page and the browser icon.
Banner Text: You can provide your own custom Banner that shows a message to guests ordering from your “bar”. For example, “Happy Birthday Megan” or “Free Pints for Canucks Fans”.
Confirmation Message: This is the message show to guests upon placing a successful order. You could personalize this to make it more fun or to let them know you’ll bring their drinks over.
Primary Color: This is the primary “branding” color used in various spots on the Guest Order page, such as the banner and drink tile accents.
Secondary Color: This is the secondary “branding” color used in various spots on the Guest Order page, such as the “Cart” icon and “Add to Cart” buttons.
That’s it! Your guests can now send orders straight to you via the ordering interface. New orders can be viewed and managed from the Orders page.
